I have three wonderful children who are a constant source of laughter, fun and inspiration to me.  My other loves in life are yoga, cooking, walking my Norfolk terrier in Richmond Park and pottery.  My husband started his own fine wine business in London shortly after we were married and I was  involved in the administration and finances for 28 years.  It was a very rewarding job but now my children have flown the nest, got married and started their own families I felt the need to do something completely different.  I have always wanted to be a midwife but the wine business developed so quickly I had to put my dreams on hold.  It is these dreams that encouraged me to commence my journey towards becoming a doula.  I absolutely love doing what I do, helping parents when they need it most and being with them to welcome a new baby into the world.  Complete job satisfaction, what more could you ask for.
I spend 2 days a week in the C&W post-natal ward supporting new mothers with feeding following their birth.  In addition to this I work in the tongue tie clinic at C&W helping to assess tongue ties and assist during the procedure if it is deemed necessary.

I trained as a birth doula with Developing Doulas in London and am certified by Doula UK which is the largest network of Doulas in the UK.  I  abide by their strict code of philosophy and conduct.  I was recognised as a Birth Doula in October 2017.
